Hello Scouts and families!
Hope you had a great summer! With the return to school, it's time for us to recruit and welcome new Cub Scouts to our Pack. If you have a friend or know of anyone who may be interested in Cub Scouts, please invite them to our Pack 3387 Rally night at Hillcrest School on Tuesday September 7th. Rally Night is a separate evening for New Scouts and their families to meet our leaders and hear all about our group! (Please note if you are already a registered Scout, you do not need to attend this meeting...our first Pack meeting is a separate meeting this year). This year, any new youth member recruited will receive a Pinewood Derby Car! And any existing Cub Scout who recruits a friend will receive a Recruiters Patch. Welcome new Cub Scouts!

Here are some of our upcoming September Pack events...
Ride the Rail/Bike the Trail. Sunday Sept. 12th. For those families interested, on September 12th, we are taking a ride on the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad in Peninsula and taking the 3pm North bound Train to the Brecksville Railway stop. From there we will bike South on the Towpath trail
6.75 miles back to Peninsula. Sites include various canal locks and more while biking along the Cuyahoga River. The one-way train fare is $2 per biker and is payable to the staff member when you board the passenger car after they have loaded your bike in Peninsula when you first arrive. Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the train's scheduled arrival. The Peninsula Train Depot is located in the center of Peninsula near Terry Lumber. There is parking just beyond the depot to the left with additional overflow parking a little further down on the left as well. Scouts can wear your yellow "Run With The Pack" T-shirts.
September Pack Meeting. Friday Sept. 17th. Our first Pack meeting of the new school year is on Friday Sept. 17th from 7-8pm at the Hillcrest Elementary Gym. We will get to meet many new Scouts and see everyone in their new Ranks as Tigers, Wolves, Bears, Webelos 1 or Webelos 2. Scouts...if you would like to donate your some of your previous year's uniform such as hat, neckerchief/clip, etc., please bring them to this first Pack meeting to Barb
Bailey to share with the younger scouts.
Pack Fishing Derby. Sunday Sept. 19th. Come join us for the "Luau On The Lake" Pack Fishing Derby at Springcrest Lake from 1-3pm Sunday Sept. 19th.
There will be fishing, contests, snacks and lots of fun! The lake is located at 71 Springcrest Drive, Fairlawn, OH 44333.
