The calendar program has been updated from Plans version 6 to version 8.2. The e-mail notifications now work, and it offers various methods to subscribe to events or whole calendars.

However, this upgrade was not without issues. All calendar events were imported hours ahead of schedule, so a 7 PM meeting showed up at 9 AM. I believe I have fixed all the events from today going forward, and will spend some time fixing past events over the upcoming days.
