Great night at Canal Park!

We were so lucky to be able to throw out two first pitches and serve as the color guard at Saturday night’s Akron Rubber Ducks game! Such a fun experience!

Greeting Pack 3387 Families!

Our annual Hillcrest Elementary Lock-In is happening on Friday, January 9th (7pm) to Saturday, January 10th (8:30am). Cost is $10 per Scout and RSVPs need to go to cubmaster@pack3387.org by Wednesday, January 7th.

Natatorium Swimming Night – 12/13 from 7pm-9pm

Here’s hoping that everyone has recuperated from the turkey and stuffing of last week.

We will be having our annual Pack 3385/3387 swimming night at the Cuyahoga Falls Natatorium on Saturday, December 13th from 7pm-9pm.

There is no cost for the event, families and siblings are encouraged to attend, and I believe adults need to show their ID at the door.

For those of you who have not had the opportunity to attend before, the Natatorium is located at 2345 4th Street in Cuyahoga Falls.

Please let us know if you have any questions.

Building an Adventure – Cub Scouts Wanted!

For over 80 years, Cub Scouts have been having the time of their lives making new friends and learning new things in an environment designed to help them succeed. From building his own

Pinewood Derby® car to learning how to roast the perfect marshmallow with his best friends at a
family campout, your child will LOVE being a Cub Scout. So if he’s in the first through fifth
grades, or 7 to 10 years old, then it’s time for him to have some fun … with the Cub Scouts,
Richfield Pack 3387.

If you, or a friend, are interested in learning more about Scouting we invite you to attend our
2014-2015 Kick-off Meeting *Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM at Hillcrest Elementary
School, 3080 Revere Road, Richfield, Ohio 44286.

Spring Campout April 12-13

We have our Pack 3387 Spring Campout planned for April 12-13, starting at noon on Saturday the 12th. If the weather is good, everyone is welcome to camp Friday night as well, but you will be on your own for food.

Please note that we moved the location to Quail Hollow State Park (near Akron).
http://parks.ohiodnr.gov/quailhollow#overview

There will be a $10 per family cost to cover food for Saturday night dinner and Sunday breakfast.

While Quail Hollow’s group camp site is a nice camp site location, it is a bit primitive… water and bathrooms are a 1/4 mile away, still within the park… and there is no cabin (only tent camping). So plan to bring water with you.

Our agenda is pretty informal for the spring campout, and we encourage each Den to decide on activities for themselves. There are great hiking and mountain bike trails within the park. There is a nature center to visit, and a pond to fish in. We will plan to have a campfire ceremony around 7PM on Saturday night.

Blue and Gold Banquet Tonight

Our Pack 3387 Blue & Gold Banquet is tonight at Grace Church. This is an event for the entire pack to celebrate accomplishments of the Scouts, and witness the crossover of our Webelos II Scouts into Boy Scout program.

We want to remind you that we will give a presentation on friends of Scouting. This is our opportunity to give back to scouting. Please bring your check book and consider a pledge.

We will be collecting dues for the year. Despite the fact that our district costs have gone up, due to our overwhelming popcorn sales, we will be able to keep our dues at $50 per year.

Lastly, we may need some volunteer help, so a leader may just tap you on the shoulder and ask you to pitch in. If you can, plan on staying to help reorganize the room after the event.

Thank you for all you do and we’ll see you tomorrow.

Matt
